We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsEP Electrophysiology TechnicianWe are seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician. As our EP Technician, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. If you are a kind and qualified EP professional, please apply to join an amazing team of closely-knit caring, professionals Typical duties may include:You will assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures.You will assist in soothing and positioning patients.You will maintain sterile techniques.During procedures you will also assist in the monitoring the patient as you assist the physician.After the procedure, you will gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.You may transport the patient to recovery.QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Biology Anatomy & Physiology, or related field Experience: 2 years of Electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Ablation devices. Licensure: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Training: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) requiredSkills: Proficient in arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes, all interventional (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral). Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills  What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBachelors DegreeSince 1957, HCA Florida Citrus Hospital has grown from a single community hospital into a regional powerhouse with over 200 licensed beds.
