Role Summary:


As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care and support to designated physicians or departments, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Under the guidance of physicians, you will engage in health promotion, maintenance, and illness management.

Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians with patient care and ensuring patients are informed about clinic services.

You will perform various clinical tasks, such as:

- Monitoring patient flow
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs
- Recording current medications and chief complaints
- Conducting technical laboratory functions, including phlebotomy and EKG
- Managing medical equipment and scheduling procedures
- Performing medical scribe duties.


Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program with current licensure in Ohio.

- Alternatively, a high school diploma with Medical Assistant certification is required.

- Ability to function as a medical scribe.

- Previous experience in a medical office or urgent care setting is preferred.

- Current CPR certification is necessary.

- Knowledge of the nursing process and technical applications is essential.

- Strong critical thinking skills, including initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- A valid Ohio driver's license and insurability under Firelands auto policy are required. Proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage may be requested.
