Job Summary

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures with accuracy and precision
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiologic technology program
  • Certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R)
  • Advanced ARRT certification in CT or other subspecialties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
