Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures with accuracy and precision
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiologic technology program
- Certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R)
- Advanced ARRT certification in CT or other subspecialties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
