Radiologic Technologist

At Emory Healthcare, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology. As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality diagnostic images that help our medical teams make informed decisions.
Responsibilities- Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide quality patient care, positioning patients and adjusting equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Effectively communicate with patients, family, and other healthcare team members.
- Perform routine, portable, operating room, and fluoroscopic procedures to produce radiologic images.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

Physical and Environmental DemandsThe physical demands of this role include lifting 50 lbs max, carrying objects up to 25 lbs, and occasional to frequent standing and walking. Environmental exposures include blood-borne pathogen exposure, bio-hazardous waste, chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting, patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, and travel may be required.
