Job Title: APS Coordinator

Modern Woodmen of America is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to obtain Attending Physician Statements (APS) from various medical facilities across the country. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with different audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Order APS by contacting medical offices or copy services, utilizing reports provided in real-time.
  • Research online to find accurate contact information for providers.
  • Maintain records of communications for each request.
  • Follow up with providers at designated intervals until APS is received.
  • Notify Underwriters of any obstructions or questions regarding APS requests.
  • Email special authorizations to Financial Representatives.
  • Distribute APS via internal workflow system.
  • Record payment information and reconcile payments periodically.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be a productive team member.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be professional and discreet, with access to confidential data.

  • Full-time office-focused position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM.
