About the Program

Fifth Third Bank's Finance and Accounting Leadership Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide college students with hands-on experience in finance and accounting. The program is a paid professional development opportunity that allows participants to learn Fifth Third Bank's business practices, operations, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, analyze, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Provide analysis for monthly forecasting process for the business
  • Support the annual budgeting process
  • Perform financial variance analysis to identify trends in the business

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a business concentration (accounting, economics, finance majors preferred)
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Campus involvement/leadership experience
  • Relevant internship/co-op experience
  • Ability to complete both guided and self-directed learning activities
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future
