We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Exercise Instructor to lead fitness classes at our community center. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering safe, knowledgeable, and enjoyable classes to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct members for the complete duration of exercise classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience.
- Develop and implement class plans, incorporating proper technique and music.
- Ensure all equipment is functional and safe for use by members.
- Provide modifications and adaptations as needed, while maintaining a professional and trustworthy demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with members, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Represent the Dwares JCC in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements:
- Current group exercise certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, etc.) or specialty certification.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience.
Salary: Under $25,000
