Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Valor Healthcare. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries, delivering preventive and therapeutic treatment of Veteran patient primary care needs, and managing chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries, and deliver preventive and therapeutic treatment of Veteran patient primary care needs.
  • Manage chronic diseases through routine history and physical examination testing and non-invasive treatment.
  • Utilize strong communication with fellow team members to ensure that expectations of Patient Aligned Care Team metrics are met.
  • Work collaboratively with supervising physicians following individual state licensing requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioner (MSN required).
  • Certification by applicable professional organization.
  • Minimum one-year clinical experience (three years preferred) as a CRNP within the last 4 years in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment preferred.
  • Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
  • Must comply with and maintain all requirements for a valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
