Job DescriptionAs an Asset Protection Professional at Giant Food, you will be responsible for protecting company assets by investigating loss of merchandise, money, and property. This includes monitoring, investigating, surveillance, and other LP tactics to prevent loss and shrink within assigned stores.
- Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
- Tour stores daily, identifying deficiencies and executing corrective action as necessary.
- Maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
- Review shrink best practices and execute shrink reduction strategy drivers on store visits.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information.
- Basic skills in MS Office.
