About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Farm Training Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for students majoring or minoring in Agriculture or related fields to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of training programs and modules in the areas of farming, agriculture, and farm insurance.
  • Project Management: Perform projects to improve training practices and procedures, and evaluate current training programs regarding effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Learn to identify risks and hazards on farming operations, and recommend risk improvements and/or loss control measures related to farming operations.
  • Customer Service: Assist farm underwriting staff in resolving problems and questions, and establish positive public relations with insured and the public through professional conduct and appearance.
  • Data Analysis: Gather and interpret data relating to farm structures, and effectively communicate decisions, recommendations, and job-related information to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an Agriculture or related field program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
