Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Department Manager to join our team at Cambridge Square Assisted Living. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation, service, and sanitation.
  • Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our residents.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
