Job Summary

Paradigm Healthcare at Westbury is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to provide exceptional support in our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
  • Prepare meals under the direction of the dietary manager and cook
  • Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
  • Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.
  • Discard leftovers and take out garbage
  • Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment
  • Clean other areas of the facility as directed
  • Stock ingredients and monitor food, beverage, and equipment/supplies inventory as directed
  • Ensure that food is provided to residents consistent with orders or diet instructions
  • Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors
