Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop piping system designs that meet code, contract, and schedule requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Manage and expedite subcontractors as necessary to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Review and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance technical expertise and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of directly related technical experience
  • Experience in developing piping system designs
  • Ability to interpret and respond to technical inquiries
  • Experience in working with subcontractors and expediting engineering and manufacturing matters
  • Ability to review project contracts, schedules, and requirements
  • Proficiency in preparing piping component lists and extracting reports from 3D models (SP3D)
  • General understanding of pipe stress analysis and pipe supports
  • Knowledge of B31.1 and B31.3 Codes
  • Experience in preparing inquiry and purchase specifications for piping fabrication and hardware

Additional Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
