We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Associate at the U.S. Marine Corps. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to all Marine Corps Exchange customers, with a focus on courtesy and a positive customer experience.
- Sales Support: Assist customers in challenging scenarios, using an "I can do that" mindset to resolve issues and provide solutions.
- Brand Ambassador: Serve as a brand ambassador for the Marine Corps and MCX programs, including Military Star, Super Star Student, customer satisfaction surveys, and Keep it New.
- Store Operations: Perform various store operations tasks, including customer and register transactions, Planogram revisions and setups, identifying missing products, replenishing sales floor and coolers, setting promotional signage, visual merchandising, and maintaining backroom standards through the 5S program.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, and trash removal, as part of daily assigned duties.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize and complete tasks with basic retail equipment, including cash registers, time clocks, RF scanners, mobile printers, handheld equipment, signage equipment, and basic fixture equipment.
- Inventory and Risk Management: Assist in preparing and participating in year-end inventory and preparation, identifying and communicating potential risk of loss and/or theft.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a customer and sales-focused environment is preferred.
- Cash Handling: Cash handling, basic math, and register experience are strongly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read and understand operating standards and procedures for service, service recovery, sales, and store brand, and work within the position to execute these standards properly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a high-performance atmosphere with commitment to service and sales goals.
