Job Summary

The U.S. Marine Corps is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate NF1 to join our team at the Marine Corps Exchange. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sales support, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

About the Job

This is a seasonal position that will be scheduled throughout the facility, based on the needs of the business. You will be responsible for assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and providing a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves, and performing other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including sales floor and backroom operations

• Assist customers with purchases, answering questions and providing recommendations

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and performing other tasks as needed

• Perform other tasks as needed, including but not limited to, customer and register transactions, Planogram revisions and setups, identifying missing products, replenishing sales floor and coolers, setting promotional signage, visual merchandising, and maintaining backroom standards through the 5S program

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working in a customer and sales-focused environment

• Cash handling, basic math, and register experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read and understand operating standards and procedures for service, service recovery, sales, and store brand

• Ability to work in a high-performance atmosphere with commitment to service and sales goals

• Attention to detail is required
