At Northwestern Medicine, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment. As an Emergency Department Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and monitoring, including vital signs and medical treatments
  • Assist with patient transportation and provide a safe and comfortable environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate or current Illinois EMT-B/P license or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) with 5+ years of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
