Job Title: Police Officer

City of McHenry, IL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing and investigating crimes, and providing emergency services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crimes
  • Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
  • Provide emergency services, such as responding to calls and assisting with medical emergencies
  • Enforce traffic laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community groups to prevent and solve crimes
Requirements:
  • Citizen of the United States
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security Card
  • Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience as a full-time law enforcement officer
