Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of floors, walls, and surfaces in designated areas, including restrooms, cafeterias, and other high-traffic areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and brooms.
- Transport and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Assist in setting up and tearing down events, including conferences, meetings, and performances.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the facilities team.
- Collaborate with staff and students to ensure a clean and safe learning environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time position that requires working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to wear a uniform and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
