Navion Senior Living is currently seeking dedicated Certified Medication Technicians to fulfill medication administration responsibilities within our innovative Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. Our Medication Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality medication management and resident care.

Full-Time: 1st and 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Safeguard residents' rights while treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Participate in training and educational programs, fulfilling state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to the community's dress code to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Complete documentation accurately and comprehensively.
  • Report any changes in residents' conditions promptly to the supervisor.
  • Follow established policies and procedures regarding work schedules and assigned tasks.
  • Operate equipment safely, using only those tools for which training has been provided.
  • Implement infection control measures in all activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency protocols, reporting any safety violations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Certification as a Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in a senior care environment without posing safety or health risks.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
