About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished executive to join our leadership team as Global Head of Renewals. This critical role is responsible for transforming the Renewals function to align with our refreshed go-to-market strategy, building a customer transaction journey that delivers value to every Atlassian customer.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Customer Success Management & Renewals, you will lead a team of segment leaders in delivering aggressive retention and expansion targets. With a retention target of $800M and a team of 70 reps, your exceptional leadership skills will be instrumental in driving growth and success.
The global role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and strength in building productive cross-functional relationships. You will be an important member of the CSM & Renewals leadership team, working collaboratively to define, articulate, and execute the global strategy for a redefined Customer Success vision across all post-sales functions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive renewal strategy aligned with our refreshed go-to-market approach
- Lead a team of segment leaders in delivering aggressive retention and expansion targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a cohesive partnership that removes blockers, drives improved customer engagement, and accelerates growth
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the Renewals team
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 10+ years of renewals/account management/sales experience
- 7 years+ of management experience with experience achieving revenue goals focused on Enterprise customers with a global footprint
- Experience coaching and developing experienced managers
- Experience leading change across a complex organization and footprint
- Experience using CRM, forecast management, and analytic tools
- Experience working in an international environment, leaning into nuances across both industry verticals and markets
- Experience leading strategic projects and problems with measurable results
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $156,700 - $251,700 (Zone A: $188,800 - $251,700, Zone B: $169,900 - $226,500, Zone C: $156,700 - $208,900), benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
