Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QMS Software Development Intern to join our team at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense. As a QMS Software Development Intern, you will play a key role in developing a formal Software Quality Management System (QMS) for our EnviroLogix business.

The selected candidate will work closely with our Software Development team to create a robust QMS that supports efficient, long-term maintenance of our solution. You will be responsible for categorizing software information assets across multiple applications, administering user access controls, and automating process workflows.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the technical nuances of both Windows-native and Cloud-based applications, as well as industry standards for software documentation. You will work with two sub-teams who separately develop on-site grain testing and global data management operations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Categorize software information assets across multiple applications

Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Quality Management, Computational Biology, or a related field
  • Self-starter who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation
