Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Mend.io. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and reliable projects that meet the highest standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications
  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications
  • Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities in software applications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a full lifecycle of project development using primarily Java
  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering with a full lifecycle of project development using Go(lang)
  • Experience in software design, architecture, and development integration
  • Solid knowledge of web services and REST
  • Independent and resourceful, with a strong ability to perform under pressure and constraints
  • Fluency in English
  • Team player, with a get-it-done attitude and a quick learner

Advantages:

  • Programming experience and deep knowledge in other languages such as Go(lang)
  • Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques
  • Experience working on AWS, MongoDB (or NoSQL in general), EKS, and containers
  • Experience creating React-based UIs
  • Experience with cloud-based architecture and implementation
  • Knowledge of security in general and SAST (Static Application Security Testing) in specific
  • Ability to research and integrate new technologies
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
