Radiation Therapist in the Radiology Oncology Unit
The Radiation Therapy Registered Technologist (ARRT) is responsible for delivering high-quality services to patients across various settings within the department. This role includes performing duties as specified in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual, assisting with administrative responsibilities, and maintaining clinical proficiency through ongoing education and training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and effective radiation therapy services to all patients.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
This is a per diem day shift position with a 0.01 FTE.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE).
- National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy certification upon hire.
- Successful completion of clinical rotations from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
