Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Interim HealthCare - Richmond, VA. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing personal care and hygiene services to patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. This includes assisting with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake. The CNA will also assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises, as well as check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes.
  • Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Virginia.
  • Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
