Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at American Senior Communities. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
