Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Efficiency: Safely oversee all phases of manufacturing to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues or problems with equipment or personnel.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and drive formula improvements, equipment, and engineering revisions.
  • Training and Development: Provide training as needed and maintain open lines of communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality/Lab, Maintenance, and Warehouse support groups.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure production supply inventories are maintained and notify the appropriate purchasing associates when items need to be restocked.
  • Performance Management: Administer performance appraisals of production associates and establish, communicate, and provide timely feedback on objectives, goals, and expectations.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a manufacturing leadership position managing direct reports, as well as a broad knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing operations.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate in writing and verbally, in English.
  • Technical Skills: Competency in computer and PC software, including email, internet, and MS Office.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalency.
