Quality Manager, Manufacturing

Strivector Corp, a leading National Staffing and Recruiting agency, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager, Manufacturing to join our team. As a Quality Manager, Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products and plant environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a culture of quality production and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance across production areas and work with area managers to improve performance.
  • Implement programs to ensure compliance with 3rd party industry standards, such as SQF and HACCP.
  • Lead SQF, FSMA, and HACCP initiatives, as well as continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain, monitor, review, and implement GMPs, HACCP, SOPS, and SSOPS.
  • Perform risk assessments on new ingredients and update HACCP registers accordingly.
  • Lead customer and regulatory audits.
  • Escalate quality control and food safety issues and present plausible solutions.
  • Develop and implement an effective internal audit program and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Support new product/customer launches.
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
  • Develop employees plant-wide through training and creation of overall quality awareness.
  • Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
  • B.S. or B.A. in Food Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Food, Supplement, or related industry.
  • Familiarity with SQF, FDA (FSMA), HACCP, and other regulatory and industry guidelines and requirements.
  • PCQI and HACCP certified desired.
