Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, pain clinic, GI lab, urology, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, providing patient radiation protection and safety.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process images to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Assist Radiologists, work independently, and serve as a technical resource for students and staff.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
