Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Production Specialist to join our team at Tarkett. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving yarn to creel racks, properly hanging and splicing in when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive yarn to creel racks and ensure all tickets are accounted for and yarn color and lots match work order.
  • Hang yarn on creel and splice in creel.
  • Perform bending, stooping, and reaching overhead as required.
  • Maintain a good safety record and keep work area clean at all times.
  • Work unsupervised and be self-motivated, with the ability to work well with others.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch.
  • Ability to read yarn labels.
  • Ability to follow instructions on warp orders.
  • Ability to hang 306 to 612 cones of yarn and remove 306 to 612 cones of yarn on creels in an 8-to-10-hour shift.
  • Keep records on daily report.
