Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Be proficient in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and temporary staff.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • Conduct thorough resume searches and utilize established candidate pools and job board resources to meet client demands promptly.
  • Engage in recruitment activities, conduct interviews, and maintain communication with candidates and temporary staff.
  • Strategically align employee skills with client hiring requirements.
  • Assist in generating business leads and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Act as a dependable liaison between temporary staff and clients.
  • Maximize billable hours to enhance market presence and branch profitability.
  • Perform various administrative duties that support the overarching goal of quality service delivery.
  • Conduct service calls to ensure high-quality customer satisfaction and initiate outside sales calls to establish new business relationships.
  • Introduce clients to additional services and products offered by Surge Staffing.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing initiatives for sales outreach, direct mail, in-office presentations, and public relations for the assigned branch.
  • Foster strong business relationships through outstanding customer service and effective client development strategies.
  • Recruit, train, and retain temporary staff; provide coaching and guidance to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve issues or complaints from temporary staff, clients, and other personnel.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent work experience/education.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous; staffing industry background is highly preferred.
  • Experience in sales, human resources, or service sectors is recommended.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • The ability to travel to various locations as required; reliable transportation is essential.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A sales-oriented mindset, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
