Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and executing recruitment strategies for early career and experienced talent under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the full recruitment life cycle for various positions across the organization, including manufacturing, professional, and managerial roles.
  • Build and maintain early career programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and other entry-level talent initiatives.
  • Enhance the candidate experience while promoting the company's employer brand.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of recruiting, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, with minimal supervision.
  • Develop strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent across manufacturing, professional, and managerial roles.
  • Utilize proactive sourcing solutions such as direct sourcing, employee referrals, targeted advertising, social media, and networking.
  • Partner with schools, alumni groups, and community organizations to establish pipelines for both early career and experienced talent.
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate internship and apprenticeship programs across departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand early talent needs and implement recruitment initiatives.
  • Handle the full-cycle recruitment process for interns and early talent, including screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Monitor the progress of internship and apprenticeship programs through check-ins, performance reviews, and feedback collection.
  • Attend and promote early career opportunities at career fairs, schools, and community events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ year experience in recruitment, with 3+ years of talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build meaningful partnerships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
