Shift Manager Responsibilities:

As a Shift Manager at McDonald's, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift. This includes:

  • Opening and closing registers for staff members, counting register drawers, and resolving cash overages and shortages
  • Ensuring the shift is properly staffed
  • Developing and assigning tasks to staff members, overseeing completion of tasks
  • Resolving customer issues and approving exceptions to policy for coupons, returns, etc.
  • Training new hires and creating development opportunities for experienced staff members
  • Providing recognition and constructive feedback throughout the shift as appropriate

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA.
