Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions to support our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescribe medication and maintain patient charts
  • Manage inventory and maintain patient examination rooms
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • LPN licensure in the state of New York required
Working Conditions
