Position Overview:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will conduct diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the proficient operation of various imaging and counting equipment.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining precise records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal, serving as a clinical resource for unit personnel, and ensuring adherence to current practice standards.



Qualifications:
To be considered for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine
    • R.
    T. (N)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification required

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - capable of exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

With a capacity of 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the referral center for the region, catering to a diverse population in northeastern Colorado, where over 28 languages are spoken.
