Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at UCHealth as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Ambulatory Surgical Center

Employment Type:
Part-Time, 0.6 FTE, 48 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule:
Day Shifts

Compensation:
$40.86 per hour, based on relevant experience

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification as R.T. (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations with precise patient positioning and technique selection, ensuring optimal use of contrast media and radiation safety.
- Assess the quality of images produced and confirm physician orders.
- Collaborate with Radiologists as needed to ensure accurate diagnostics.
- Introduce yourself to patients, explaining the procedures clearly.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies in work areas.
- Perform necessary clerical tasks.
- Assist in transporting patients as required.
- Provide orientation to new staff members.
- Act as the primary contact for the facility's Radiation Safety Program, overseeing safety monitoring and device tracking.
- Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to operate effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
