Quality Control Technician Role

At Rinker Materials, we're committed to excellence and dedicated to making a positive impact. As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products throughout all phases of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize established procedures, quality control manuals, and equipment to maintain quality control in all phases of production.
  • Read and understand shop fabrication drawings and specs, verifying dimensions of products or materials.
  • Perform internal audits and maintain quality control inspection records.
  • Act as liaison to outside inspectors and resolve quality issues due to production and fabrication errors.
  • Inspect finished goods loads prior to plant departure and coach/train the team in quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience, with prior QC experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) specifications.
  • Ability to interpret readings from Micrometers, Calipers, and other QC tools.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
