Product Planning Manager

Midea America Corp. is a leading home appliance brand with a global presence. We are seeking a Product Planning Manager to lead the product planning efforts for our residential air conditioning team. This role will manage our consumer research team and work closely with R&D teams to develop innovative products that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for the residential AC team.
- Communicate with global product planning teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Investigate new market opportunities and conduct competitive analyses.
- Manage consumer research strategy and communicate direction to the insights and data science team.
- Lead consumer insights & research projects, including focus groups, surveys, and market reports.
- Turn research findings into actionable items related to the product roadmap and strategy.
- Assist with marketing-related items, such as claim validation and research.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business/marketing.
- 7+ years' experience with air conditioning products or related field.
- Familiarity with product development.
- Goal-oriented and self-managed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Master's degree in a similar field from an accredited university.
- History of working with global colleagues.
