As a valued member of the PALECEK team, the Showroom Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This dynamic individual will be responsible for facilitating daily showroom operations, encompassing tasks in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Merchandising.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Performance: Achieve high levels of sales performance and outcomes by identifying and pursuing business opportunities, generating sales forecasts, and meeting financial goals and quotas.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in the selection, purchase, and delivery of merchandise, providing product knowledge, and utilizing informational tools to meet customer requests.
- Product Ambassador: Serve as a product ambassador for PALECEK by maintaining comprehensive product knowledge and utilizing this expertise to provide immediate detail for product and sales requests.
- Business Development: Identify, develop, and document new and existing business opportunities, and maintain current Architecture and Design industry knowledge with an understanding of brand competitors and their application to the sales process.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform other duties as requested, including order processing, basic computer skills, and proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the trade, with previous successful sales experience in Architecture and Design and a track record of high-volume performance.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the To the Trade and Wholesale industry, exceptional customer service with outstanding follow-up skills, proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems, familiarity with the furniture industry and design concepts, and competence in order processing and basic computer skills.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work normal business hours of 9:00am-5:00pm (PT), willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time, operate in a professional office environment, and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Compensation: Pay range: $25 - $35/hour, target incentive bonus opportunity.
