Position Overview

Dart Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team.

  • Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds to monitor patient conditions.

  • Participate in the on-call nursing leadership rotation alongside the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers.
  • Coordinate and manage comprehensive planning for nursing services.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of nursing theory and practice.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical documentation.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.
  • Oversee daily staffing operations to meet patient needs.
  • Implement infection control measures effectively.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to accommodate varying demands.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care environments is required.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in staff education.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and supervisory experience are required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
