Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification with a customer service-oriented approach
  • Orient patients to the center and coordinate additional patient services as needed
  • Support other center team members by answering phones, assisting customers, and fulfilling cross-trained responsibilities
  • Maintain scheduling status daily and address potential problems with corrective actions
  • Complete administrative duties such as answering the phone, confirming appointments, and handling other administrative tasks
Requirements
  • High school graduate required; Associate's degree preferred
  • Two years of experience in a medical/physicians office setting and/or experience with insurance benefits preferred
  • Computer proficiency required; Microsoft Office applications preferred
