About the Role

We are looking for a Programming and Events Support Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will assist with event planning and coordination, vendor management, and administrative tasks.

Estimated Salary: $18-$25 per hour (based on 15-20 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the programming team with event planning and coordination, including research and execution of event entertainment, production, and sponsorship activations.
  • Manage performer and VIP hospitality arrangements.
  • Coordinate logistics and operations for events, including permits, inventory management, and supply replenishment.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Experience with event management and operations.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work in both office and outdoor settings.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and GoogleDocs required.
