Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver emergency medical treatment and transport patients to medical facilities in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Document patient care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork and equipment are completed and in good working order.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic science program.
  • Tennessee or Georgia Paramedic license.
  • National Registry License.
  • American Heart Association - BLS/Health Care Provider certification.
  • American Heart Association - ACLS certification.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Ambulance operations experience.
  • General patient care knowledge and skills.
  • ECG rhythm and 12 Lead interpretation skills.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric certifications (PALS, EPC, PEPP).
  • Trauma certifications (ITLS, PHTLS).
  • Driving courses (EVOC, CEVO).
