Job Summary

Vital Medical Transport is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to patients. Your duties will include responding to emergency calls, performing medical services, and transporting patients to medical facilities. You will also be responsible for administering medications, interpreting electrocardiograms, and using complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
  • Assess patient conditions and determine courses of treatment
  • Administer medications and use medical equipment
  • Transport patients to medical facilities
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • State of Tennessee Paramedic License
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Skills and experience with a high proficiency at the BLS level of service
  • Interpersonal skills including compassion, listening, and communicating

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS Certificate
  • PHTLS Certificate
  • ITLS Certificate
  • National Registry Certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work involves exposure to the elements, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises
  • Extensive physical activity, heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 100lbs
  • Exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations

Compensation:

24-28 Hourly Wage
