Job Title: Youth Specialist

Job Summary:

The Youth Specialist will work with youth in a juvenile correctional facility, providing guidance and support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals. This role requires a strong understanding of juvenile corrections and a commitment to helping youth succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to youth in a juvenile correctional facility
  • Help youth develop life skills and achieve their goals
  • Work with youth to identify and address behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor and report on youth behavior and progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. criminology, juvenile corrections, social work)
  • Experience working with youth in a correctional setting
  • Strong understanding of juvenile corrections and youth development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
