Job Summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Medical Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, observing and recording patient conditions, and advising physicians of any adverse reactions.
  • Provide patient education and teaching under the direction of a physician, answering questions regarding diagnostic testing and treatment.
  • Dress wounds according to standard clinical procedures.
  • Administer and monitor IV fluids and medications as necessary.
  • Perform MA duties as indicated.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited registered nurse program or bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • State of Georgia licensure as a registered nurse required.
