Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Professional to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex testing procedures, analyzing specimens, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role

This is a night shift position that requires individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent analytical skills, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, including specimen handling, testing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex testing procedures, including blood counts, chemistry tests, and hematology tests
  • Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient test results
  • Review and release test results to healthcare providers
  • Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance
  • Participate in quality control activities, instrument calibrations, and maintenance
  • Identify and correct problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting
  • Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from established performance specifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing
  • National certification as an MT/MLT from a recognized organization (ASCP or AMT)
  • Ability to establish work priorities and handle multiple procedures simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
