Job Summary

The Payroll and Accounting Clerk is a vital member of the Life Care Center of Rochester team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll and accounting processes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile payroll and accounts payable statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and verify quarterly payroll reports in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients during emergencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Human Resources and Payroll experience required
  • Healthcare or mid-size company experience preferred
  • Prior bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Data entry experience preferred
