The City of Portage is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Civil Engineering Project Engineer. In this capacity, you will be tasked with managing a variety of engineering functions associated with infrastructure projects, including improvements to sanitary sewer systems, water supply, roadways, and stormwater management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Proficiency in soil erosion control and project oversight.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $57,800 and $78,200 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a driver's license verification, background investigation, and substance abuse testing.
