Enterprise IT Solutions Engineer

This role necessitates an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance or the capability to secure a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance for eligibility.

The Enterprise IT Solutions Engineer is tasked with pinpointing strategic and operational activities aimed at enhancing and maintaining IT enterprise systems. This position aids the Government in conducting information management (IM) assessments and prioritizing projects, as well as development and integration efforts to reduce redundancy and synchronize capabilities for the client IT Enterprise. Furthermore, the Enterprise IT Solutions Engineer will deliver architectural evaluations to guarantee enterprise advancements and the ongoing support of systems in alignment with Army Intelligence Enterprise investments and implementations; facilitate interoperability through a collaborative architecture to promote information sharing and accessibility; and assist the client in identifying, validating, coordinating, and documenting artifacts pertinent to Enterprise Intelligence Information Architecture.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Enterprise IT Solutions Engineer: $135,000 - $150,000

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Enterprise IT Solutions Engineer Include:
  • Providing support to the requirements management process for GISA-Pacific in collaboration with SETA contractors at various locations. Assisting in identifying strategic and operational activities for IT enterprise enhancements and sustainability.
  • Conducting asset and portfolio management to facilitate GISA-Pacific's IT hardware lifecycle replacement. Aiding in the development and execution of business processes to support the identification and validation of IT hardware throughout its lifecycle, ensuring properly documented assets are managed within the organization's asset management database.
  • Offering technical support in the creation of information papers to address a diverse range of IT requirements, including Unfunded Requirements (UFR), POM issue papers, financial planning documents, and strategic implementation briefings.
  • Assisting with the comprehensive acquisition process to fulfill Information Technology requirements for GISA-Pacific missions and installations of network services at supported units and organizations. Contributing to the development of documentation required for procurement packages.
  • Developing IT requirements packages for INSCOM G6/GISA Request for Change, tracking the status throughout each process while coordinating requests for additional information with technical staff as necessary.
  • Providing technical assistance in support of programming activities related to Program Objective Memorandums (POM) and Intelligence POM development.
  • Supporting the creation of Unfunded Requirement (UFR)/URR and POM issue papers, organizational and functional layouts, and strategy implementation documents.
  • Making recommendations on organizational staffing and enterprise relationships; preparing briefings and papers for GISA-Pacific leadership; providing technical expertise and recommendations during architecture, planning, and implementation meetings.
  • Participating in GISA-Pacific meetings, VTCs, and conferences as required, and supporting coordination with key military and civilian personnel.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A minimum of a BA/BS in a technology-related field is preferred; ten years of experience as an IT Systems Architect or Engineer may substitute for the degree.
  • Six years of experience in Project Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering is required; ten years of experience is preferred.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI is mandatory.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal government contracts and programs.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to brief senior management and military officers effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong organizational abilities are essential.
  • Adaptability to a changing environment is crucial.
  • Proficiency in the entire MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Must meet pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
