About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced trauma surgeon to join our team at the University of Louisville's Department of Surgery. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the advancement of trauma surgery and general surgery training while enjoying a fulfilling academic career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor residents and students in general and trauma surgery
  • Conduct research in trauma surgery and related fields
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A completed general surgery training at an ACGME accredited program
  • Board certification/eligibility in surgery by the American Board in Surgery
  • Completion of a trauma surgery/critical care fellowship program

What We Offer

The University of Louisville provides a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
